Tezos Tuesday Community Showcase - January 17, 2023

Tolga’s “Bicycle” plays with your perceptions and bends your reality. It is a reminder that there is always a different way to look at a situation.

Franz’s piece conjures thoughts of paths not followed, dreams not realized, and the possibilities of our lives that were lost to time.

“Little Prince #1” makes me think about the responsibilities that come with the spotlight.

“Lucy Tree 2” reminds me of our connection to nature. We are not separate from the world around us, we are part of it.

“Attraction 01” is a collage of photographs. I was drawn to the retro vibe of the black and white images pasted in an old notebook.

“Life is Journey” is a joyful shot. In the description, Tulsi explains that it was taken with a camera borrowed from a friend at the beginning of Tulsi’s photography journey.

I love this manipulated photo collage by Dorothee. The colors are striking, and the double exposure casting grass and a wet feather as the sky adds so much interest to the piece.

I love this delicate macro shot by Elfearsfoxsox.  The purples are so vibrant, and the little pop of green at the base of the petals draws my eye deeper into the piece.

“Sunny Day in the Park” is a gorgeous painting. It makes me feel a sense of serenity.

“Seclusion” is a stunner of a photograph. The colors are so vibrant, and the reflections in the water give it an other worldly feel.

I love this image so much. Shreenivas chose the perfect perspective to highlight the talent of the girl performing.

Gabriel’s photograph is dreamy. It reminds me of a modern fairy tale.

“In My Mother’s Arms” is a powerful shot. Mine captured the loving bond between mother and child so well.

“Meet Me at the Rock Show” makes me nostalgic for the summers music festivals of my teenage years.

“Inhaling Spring” is such a sweet image. I love the appreciation for nature on the child’s face.

“Shadow Self” stood out to me as an unique and powerfully expressive image. Sweet Taboo’s self portrait communicates a lot with a simple shadow.

“Black Moon in Pisces” is a wonderful interpretation of ying-yang imagery. The empty space makes me wonder who or what she is trying to embrace.

I love this image by Gomp. The way the light reflected through the wine glasses to create interesting shadows captures my interest.

How can you not love “Lake Bonney Golden Glow”? The colors, the reflection, and the starkness of the lone, bare tree in the middle of the water come together to create a stunning image.

“Pink Flamingos” is joyfully whimsical. I just want to dive into this world and go for a hot air balloon ride through those cotton candy clouds.

I have been a fan of Mehmet’s work since I first stumbled upon it in early 2022. His skill for capturing tiny wild animals in stunning macro portraits is unmatched.

“Mystic X” is an intriguing mixed media piece. I want to run my hands over it and feel the grooves and bumps that make up its wonderful texture.

“Astral 006” is wonderfully imaginative. My mind starts telling an elaborate story when I look at this piece.

I love the animation of the clouds in Aymaan’s “Full Moon”.

“Festival of Colors” is simply stunning. It is an image of pure joy.
