Fleur-de-Lis was taken during the spring of 2022. I was inspired by macro artists in the NFT space to plant a garden and buy a macro lens. I was rewarded with a yard full of beautiful tulips and daffodils and ample subjects to shoot.

Sweet Memories

Sweet Memories was taken at the Montreal Botanical Gardens in 2009. It was the beginning of my last year at McGill University, and a group of friends decided to finally check some Montreal tourist spots off of our bucket lists. It was a wonderful day during a fun period of my life.

The Beauty of Vile Verde

In 2014, after I was married, I traveled to Portugal with my husband and his family. My father-in-law grew up in the small mountain town of Vila Verde in the North of Portugal. We went to visit my husband’s grandparents on the farm that they had been maintaining since the 1950s. I immediately fell in love with the impressive garden that had been grown by my husband’s grandfather. This was the first and last time I would ever meet this kind and gentle man.

Bright Sunny Day

Horn Pond in Woburn, Massachusetts is my favorite place to go birding. In the summer, there is also a beautiful community garden filled with vegetables and flowers. Before I had kids, I would often spend my summer afternoons wandering around the flowers, with my camera, looking for hummingbirds and finches.
